We are seeking a responsible and enthusiastic individual for the FULL-TIME Customer Service Representative role. The ideal candidate should be outgoing, friendly, and ready to greet our clients and their pets with a warm smile and plenty of Aloha!

In this fast-paced environment, you'll manage multiple phone lines, text messages, and in-person clients, so the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting and work collaboratively with the team is essential. A genuine love for animals is also a MUST!

We offer a great work-life balance with 4-day work weeks, giving you 3 days off to recharge and enjoy your time outside of work.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to be the welcoming face of our practice. CSR will interact with clients in person, over the phone, and through written communication. A solid understanding of our services, staff, and processes is essential. The ideal candidate will present themselves professionally and communicate in a friendly, reassuring manner. Responsibilities include using practice management software for record-keeping, invoicing clients, processing payments, and sending correspondence. The CSR will collaborate with clients, veterinarians, and team members to ensure a seamless experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to navigate the reception and retail areas, perform data entry, use office machinery, and assist clients with merchandise.
• Capacity to walk, bend, stand, and reach during a 10-hour shift.
• Willingness to work flexible or irregular hours in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, veterinarians, and team members, requiring adequate hearing and speaking abilities.
• Visual acuity to maintain accurate records, recognize individuals, and understand written instructions.
• Ability to transport inventory, regularly lifting up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Basic animal handling skills for weighing pets and assisting with care.
• Availability to work one weekend day is required.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with hospital procedures, appointment scheduling, and maintaining patient records.
• Strong client service skills, demonstrating compassion, tact, and diplomacy.
• Integrity and commitment to the practice, with the ability to work efficiently and take initiative to support team members.
